Eric was born in California and raised in Louisiana.  He is a graduate of Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology. 

Eric followed in his father's footsteps by serving as a pilot with the United States Marine Corps as his son has followed in his footsteps and is currently serving as a pilot in the Marine Corps in Iraq.

After leaving the military, Eric embarked on a career with Delta Airlines for 29 years.  It was during this time that he lived through a life threatening hijacking of his plane.  Eric was able to share the power of God's love with his would be assailant.  Eric's experience was later made into a training video to be used by Delta and then shared with other airlines.

The simplicity and honesty of his message touched those in attendance at the Prayer Breakfast.  Eric gave a very clear presentation of the gospel and how a person could have a relationship with God through their acceptance of what Jesus did for them on the cross.  He told the hijacker that God loved him and that message is for all of us!!
