Ministry to Men's Annual Men's Retreat

May 15 & 16, 2008
Todd Hall Conference Center, Columbia, IL

Reservations are required in advance

and it’s time to register.

(Deadline for registration is May 12th)

There is an early session* being offered on Thursday for those who can come early. It will begin at 11:00 a.m. with lunch at noon and a session on prayer following lunch.

General registration will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15th. The retreat will conclude at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16th.

Cost is $60 for those arriving at 3:00 p.m. - this includes three meals, a snack, lodging (based on double occupancy) and conference retreat materials.

*Cost will be $65 if you are coming to participate in the early bird session; this price includes lunch on Thursday.

(If you can only attend one of the days, call Charlie for a reduced rate).

Leadership Retreat

Schedule and Cost:

This retreat is primarily for the Ministry to Men eleven bible study participants but all men are welcome to attend. There were men represented from all eleven bible studies.

This year 50+ men attended.
Father Robert Lane and Mr. Ken Chrismer were the featured speakers.
There were several poignant DVD's shown followed by group discussion.
The retreat was concluded with going through the Stations of the Cross.

This year was no exception, this was a day well spent. There were 35 men in attendance. Many commented on the blessing celebrating the Seder Meal was. We want to thank Jay Harris for his presentation of the Seder Meal. Father Bob Lane, Pastors Barry Ivie and Jerry Harris were our speakers.

Good Friday Retreat

This retreat is primarily for the Ministry to Men nine bible study participants but all men are welcome to attend. There were men represented from all nine bible studies.

St. Joseph's Hospital provided a continental breakfast and box lunch.

Father Robert Lane and Dr. David McAlpin were the featured speakers. Mr. Joe Daues shared a powerful testimony.

It was a blessed event.

This breakfast has been held on Christmas Eve for years but Phil had a conflict this year so we are changing the date to New Year's Eve morning.

No reservations are needed. A basket will be available for donations to offset the cost of the breakfast.

For those who have attended in the past, you know Phil has always brought us a challenge directed squarely to men in all walks of life. This year his son, Paul will join him.
