First Vision Night
November 7, 2002

Stegton's Banquet Center
1450 Wall Street
St. Charles, MO
The purpose of our first Vision Night was to expose people to the purpose of Ministry to Men.  We shared a story about the Man on George Street and the parallel to 'Pay it Forward'.  How as we receive the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ we 'pay it forward' by being available to share that good news with others.
The hope was to return the $10  (cost of a ticket) to everyone and ask them to 'pay it forward', but God didn't supply the resources to do that and pay our bills incurred for the dinner.  But we did share the concept.
Dave Koblish, who has a music ministry from Minnesota and sings with Billy Graham gave a concert.  He also had a concert the following evening at Dardenne Presbyterian Church.
There were 90 people who attended.

Ben Blanton
Ben Blanton

This year's event honored Ben Blanton for his many years of faithful service in leading the Wednesday morning bible study for the past 20+ years.
The original bible study has grown to ten bible studies throughout St. Charles County.  We heard from men about how the bible studies have impacted their lives.  How Ben's faithfulness had touch many lives.  Ben was awarded the 'Planters Award' in appreciation for his faithfulness to our Lord.
There were 110 people in attendance.  We enjoyed a great dinner, entertainment and an update on what God is and has been doing through the bible studies.  We realize that what was shared is just the tip of the iceberg to all God is doing in men's lives in St. Charles County.

Second Annual Vision Night

There was a video presentation sharing several men and how God is impacting their lives.  How coming to an event and hearing the gospel and then how someone came along side him and followed up on the lunch.  Another tesitmony of how going on follow up calls affected a man's walk with the Lord.

Vision Night
January 25, 2008
Column's Banquet Center

This was a very special night for everyone involved with Ministry to Men.  It was a time of reflecting on what God has been doing in and through the ministry and our vision of where we see Him leading in the future.   There were testimonies of lives changed, special music Rob McDonald with Darold Patterson playing the piano before dinner, a good meal and more.  Various board members shared their personal testimony with Ministry to Men and shared the history, mission, purpose and strategy of the ministry.

This event was not a fundraiser.
