On September 28th Ministry to Men sponsored the Annual Golf Tournament for SCC.
Several churches
joined with our efforts. The theme of the event was ‘A Bill Schuman Memorial’. Bill was the owner of Gold
Star Paving and an active participant of Ministry to Men. Several of his family
were present. The lunch and the program began at 11:30 AM, with tee
time at 1 PM. The food was great, the program edified Bill and brought honor and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. The weather
was very cooperative. There were 144 golfers registered to play and 19 others who just took part in the program and lunch.
Rick Sabbert and Ben Blanton, two of Bill's close friends shared with the audience some memories. Charlie Williams shared
how everyone attending could have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And how we can be an influence on others in allowing
God to use each of us to help another person move one step closer in their relationship with God.
